Spice of India, situated in the village of Horsford on the outskirts of Norwich in Norfolk invites you to enjoy delicious, authentic Indian cuisine, freshly prepared by their experienced chefs.

Open 7 days a week, including bank holidays, their wide selection of dishes are available to take away or enjoy in the relaxing atmosphere of their fully licensed restaurant. Plus with our seafood, vegetarian and classic meal options, Spice of India can provide a delectable dining experience to suit all tastes.

Brief

As one of our longest standing customers, Spice of India first approached us in 2011 with the commission to create a simple online presence for their restaurant. Somewhere that their loyal clientele could visit weekly to see the latest menu and where new customers could find more information and the location of the restaurant.

It simply needed to promote their opening hours and services, with a link to their PDF menu and Facebook page in an attractive, colourful manner.

The outcome

We started by locating and negotiating the purchase of the perfect domain name from someone who had registered it but never used it.

The original incarnation of the website had a short, javascript animation, menu link and gallery page.

In 2019, we revisited the site for a full makeover, reducing it down to a single, long, scrolling homepage with simple transition animations that was mobile-friendly too. The functionality was the same but we really brought it up to date in terms of look and usability!
