Brief

The folks at Residential Gates had just started the business with the goal of selling and shipping their gates and accessories via an eCommerce site.

The website had to be clean and concise, providing the visitor with an easy to use journey from browsing the product catalogue, to choosing their fixings and optional extras, and completing their purchase in a safe, secure manner.

The client had already collated some very high quality imagery, installation guides and frequently asked questions from existing customers. All that was left was to organise and present the information in a modern, attractive website.

The outcome

After a number of meetings with the directors at Residential Gates, we gained a very clear idea for the look and feel of this website. The client had some great ideas and provided us with plenty of examples of how they wanted the customer journey to function.

The site utilises a WordPress platform with a clean eCommerce theme, lots of high quality images of the products, a simple, step-by-step ordering process and Stripe plugin to allow the customer a choice of credit card or Apple Pay payments with peace of mind. It also uses cross-selling techniques during the shopper's visit to ensure they have everything they need to install their gate and transform their property.
