The Paving Experts team have over 40 years' experience in the construction industry, primarily in commercial and domestic paving and the business was established by former paving contractors who understand the tools needed to do the job and the frustrations of trying to source them quickly and at the right price!

The Paving Experts supply some of the essential (and often difficult to find) products to help you complete your landscaping or paving project, such as mortar tubs, diamond blades, quality hand tools and other landscaping equipment, quickly – and can deliver straight to site!

Brief

The Paving Experts were struggling with their current web developers and approached us to give their site a much needed overhaul. It needed to run faster, take orders with shipping details and process both PayPal and credit card payments.

The view was to have an online shop which the company could update for themselves – adding new products periodically, promoting sale items and offering bulk discounts on multiple purchases.

Since The Paving Experts supplied a wide variety of products to both trade and retail customers, it would be a lengthy task to completely repopulate the shop, upgrading the imagery and calculating discounts as we proceeded with the build.

The outcome

We set to work, finding high quality stock images for every variation of fitting tool. The team at The Paving Experts were a great help and assisted along the way with several meetings and hours of phone conversations.

The site utilises a WordPress platform with a clean eCommerce theme and plenty of plugins to make the customer experience as quick and hassle-free as possible. It features a simple-to-navigate shop with an extensive nav menu, grid-style shortcuts to popular products from the homepage, a "Meet the Team" section and a blog section, sharing tips and advice for trade customers.
